About
I’m Vijay Majithia — an author, educator, and creator of relational‑leadership frameworks that help people understand the emotional patterns shaping how they lead, relate, and respond under pressure.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked in education and leadership, supporting people not just in developing skills, but in developing self‑awareness. Over time, one truth has become clear:
We lead from our patterns — until we learn to lead from our values.
Most people navigate relationships and leadership roles through unconscious habits formed long before adulthood. These patterns influence how we communicate, how we handle conflict, how we make decisions, and how we show up under pressure.
My work exists to give people language for those patterns — and tools to change them.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I grew up in a socially deprived area of Leicester, surrounded by people with enormous potential but limited access to opportunity. I was fortunate — I had teachers, mentors, and family members who believed in me. Their influence changed the trajectory of my life.
That experience shaped my belief that self‑awareness is the foundation of leadership, opportunity, and meaningful relationships.
It also taught me that emotional patterns — not talent, not intelligence, not ambition — are often the real barrier between where we are and who we want to become.
My Professional Background
I’ve spent over twenty years in education, including a successful tenure as a middle leader. I hold a National Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and a degree in Biological Sciences (BSc Hons), specialising in Physiology and Health.
As a leader and instructional coach, I’ve:
• improved student outcomes through whole‑school initiatives
• supported teachers in developing their practice
• strengthened team culture through emotionally intelligent leadership
• helped individuals understand their behavioural patterns under pressure
This work has given me a front‑row seat to the emotional dynamics that shape teams, relationships, and leadership effectiveness.
My Frameworks
My work brings together several original models that help people understand and transform their relational and leadership patterns:
The Relational Leadership Compass™
A four‑quadrant model that helps leaders understand people, show up well, execute effectively, and expand their influence.
The Relationship Dynamics Pyramid™
A roadmap for building healthy relationships through Safety → Understanding → Collaboration → Deep Bonding.
The Toxic Spiral™
A model that explains how relationships deteriorate through Micro‑Instability → Power Distortion → Identity Erosion → Toxic Outcome.
The Relationship Litmus Test™
A diagnostic tool for assessing the health of any relationship based on Intent and Respect.
Healthy, Demanding, and Toxic Leadership Habits
A research‑based framework for understanding how leadership behaviours impact individuals, teams, and organisations.
Together, these models form a complete system for relational intelligence — applicable in leadership, teams, families, and personal relationships.
My Upcoming Book: Healthy Leader, Toxic Leader
My book explores the emotional patterns that shape how we lead and relate — the unconscious roles we fall into, the ways we protect ourselves, and the behaviours that either build trust or erode it.
It gives people:
• a language for their patterns
• a framework for understanding their reactions
• a roadmap for becoming grounded, intentional, emotionally intelligent leaders

My Core Philosophy
Self‑awareness is the most underrated leadership skill.
Emotional patterns drive behaviour more than intention.
Healthy leadership begins with healthy self‑leadership.
What I Believe
• Leadership begins long before a job title — it begins with how we relate to ourselves.
• Emotional patterns shape behaviour more than knowledge or skill.
• Clarity is kindness — in relationships, in teams, and in leadership.
• People grow when they understand why they react the way they do.
• Self‑awareness is not soft; it is structural.
Beyond the Work
I’m a husband, a father of two, and someone who believes deeply in integrity, responsibility, and leading by example. My life is anchored in relationships, health, financial stability, and spiritual grounding — the foundations that allow me to show up fully for the people I serve.
What This Space Is For
This website is a home for:
• people exploring their relational patterns
• leaders wanting to understand themselves more deeply
• teams seeking healthier dynamics
• anyone curious about why they behave the way they do
Through quizzes, frameworks, blog posts, and my upcoming book, I aim to offer clarity, compassion, and practical tools for growth.
If you’re on a journey of self‑awareness, leadership, or relational transformation — you’re in the right place.
My work focuses on self‑awareness, emotional intelligence, and relational patterns. Everything I teach is designed to help you understand yourself more deeply — not to diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental‑health or medical support.
I offer frameworks, language, and tools for reflection and growth, but they are not a substitute for therapy or personalised advice. Please use this work with discernment, and reach out to a qualified professional if you need individual support or clinical guidance.
If you’d like to explore these ideas more deeply, you can join the early reader waitlist for my upcoming book Healthy Leader, Toxic Leader. You’ll be the first to access the frameworks, tools, and insights that underpin all of my work.
